Horrible place to work and a even worser place for your loved ones to live. Staff is treated like kids,over worked and underpaid for what is expected, short staff everyday and always short on supplies as they kept a very tight limit on supplies due to a budget so the management can receive their yearly bonuses. There is a Union for staff but it's useless an does nothing to benefit the staff what so ever except for the union reps they get bonuses and vacations, they pretend to care about staff and residents but they don't at all they care about the mighty dollar and that is it..Residents are treated like prisoners and receive punishments, if a rule is broken which there are so many rules it's kind of insane that this is exceptable at any healthcare facility especially when the cost to live there is in the thousands it's really sad to watch! Those people are adults with disabilities not criminals with records!! Residents never recieved a fresh meal, all food is transferred from another facility and comes in dirty containers with lids that don't seal so food is completely exposed which can cause cross contamination and make people sick, food is already cooked from days ago, staff compares it to jail house food it's disgusting! Surveries are so dirty I don't know how they allow food to be served from there. If you have family or friends in this facility please visit regularly as the residents with less or no visitors are ignored and always last for everything, residents only get showers once a week unless family request more often...Also when vaccines were first given it was a complete shit show, some residents were held down and stabbed with a needle while screaming NO, it was very hard to watch an mind blowing at the same time, within 2 weeks 8 residents passed away, but they will not admit the real reason for the real reason for those passings.. During this whole pandemic we didn't have 1 outbreak of COVID not 1 but now all staff and residents are completely vaccinated and we have an outbreak that seems never ending, we have staff working while being COVID positive whicmakes no sense at all while healthy unvaccinated employees are not allowed to work! How in the world does that make any sense to anyone? This mandate is not a law it's actually against the human rights law so it's more a crime then it is a law so the fact these facilities are embracing it and putting lives at risk at healthcare facility is very unsettling... My advice is too never consider this place for job or a safe place to live because you will immediately be disappointed.
