Went to see these guys since they were convenient to our residence, nice to support local businesses, and they have a Napa affiliation. Had an issue with leaking power steering fluid which turned out was a rusted clamp that broke off and hose simply needed attaching and new clamp. What was ridiculous was the bill which turned out to be $120.00. Charged a full hour and of course the diagnosis lingo was thrown in and having to run and watch it! Was a simple issue and nothing warranting special diagnosis. When fellow called with outcome his reaction was defensive to my simple reiteration that "it was just a hose clamp", implying guilty feelings about the cost. I always give a garage the benefit of the doubt that they will be fair and honest. My judgement here with such an expensive bill for a simple fix is that this place is not and will therefore not be returning. Would hate to see what they would charge for anything requiring involved work. Their loss as would be nice to establish an ongoing relationship with a business that you feel you can trust. Not here. All the smiles and niceties mean nothing if you gouge your clients (not the only one to make this observation).
